Role & Responsibilities

While working at Evolve Branding, my responsibilities were creating and designing web elements that optimize user interaction and experience. I was working alongside a programmer and team leader to create wireframes, storyboards, and conceptual models for testing and building. We worked together with to complete a complete website redesign.

Problems & Challenges

Taking a prototype to building the actual website involved several unexpected problems that were not considered during the prototyping phase.

Creating a one-of-a-kind Services Page that came with problem solving skills for a unique situation.

Time management with team members in different areas of the country made me think about how to coordinate deadlines.

Skills Used

Adobe XD for website prototype creation

Adobe Illustrator to implement unique Services Page for company website

Figma for website storyboard creation

Worldpress with Elementor extension for website creation

Google meets and docs to keep in touch and on the same page for deadlines

The Team!

The Evolve Branding website redesign team consisted of 4 different members, 2 Project Leads and 2 UI/UX Designers who also worked on Web Development. Our team dynamic worked, we all had trust in each other to complete our tasks. The tasks and roles were clear from the start and we got along well. We were able to complete the project by being able to clearly communicate our ideas, by planning ahead and combined efforts.

Services Page

The goal for redesigning the company's services page was to create an intriguing page with an organic looking mind map to categorize all the services the company offers. We faced many design challenges coming up with such a unique page before agreeing on the finalized design and went through many iterations. Our solution came from exploring then sharing our thoughts on similar designs from different websites and images, followed by rapid prototyping to showcase our ideas.

Case Study Pages

Our goal with the case study page was to focus on using visuals and have limited text to create an emotional response by users. We designed different segments that could be combined to make up a complete case study page. The challenge we faced was designing layouts that fit well together. Our solution was to design many different segments followed by feedback from our leads to narrow them down to the sections that were the most striking.
